History of Academy High School
About Academy, Academy High School is a co-educational, Private, independent high school located in South Florida. We are more than a high school where students can acquire the skills necessary to succeed in college. We develop a lifelong love of learning within the context of a solid set of values. This is the foundation that will guide young adults through the course of their lives.
Introduction:
Nina Kaufman, President of Academy High School, Academy High School was established in 1976. Is an extraordinary
concept as an accredited private high school for the new decade we offer classes from 3rd through 12th Grade in
a college like stetting. Along with her son David Kaufman, Vice-President, they have established an institution
that assists today’s youth in attaining their high school diploma.
By being a part of Academy you will realize that we are unlike a traditional public or private high school. Our
methods of education are different and these methods are the main reason why we are so attractive to teenagers
and their parents. We now live in a day and age where public schools are over-crowded and students are not receiving
the attention they deserve. This is where we come into play. There are no two students that are completely identical.
They all have their own way of learning. They learn at different paces, and they all have their own attitudes.
Therefore, we treat each student as an individual.
